Twenty years of television will teach you a few things.
How to find the story buried in the footage. How to save a scene that wasn't working on the day. How to collaborate with directors, showrunners, and writers who each have a different vision — and help them find a better one.
Born in the Netherlands and raised in Florida, I've spent my career in Los Angeles cutting drama and comedy for Showtime, AMC, NBC, Peacock, CBS All Access, Freeform, and more. My credits run from prestige drama — The Affair, Jordan Peele's The Twilight Zone — to sharp comedy like Maron and SMILF. I bring more than a cut to the table: restructuring suggestions, ADR, sound design, and music instincts that have shaped scenes from rough assembly to final mix.
I'm also paying close attention to where the industry is heading. In 2023 I completed AI filmmaking training with Curious Refuge and was hired immediately after to produce AI-generated content for their Horror Film Competition. I'm not waiting to see what AI does to post production — I'm already working inside it.
